i have a question about my tachometer
i can't get my rpm tach meter to match my stock rpm
can ne one help me?

cause the stock one is inaccurate. if your off by 100-300rpm that's normal.

its off by double of my stock rpm
thats why its wierd

doubtful... maybe you got a bogus tach. who did the wiring for you? try uninstalling it and reinstalling it with an EXPERT to help, or hell just let the expert do it. and if an expert already did it for you, make his *** do it again, right!

my friend did it for me and the shop said i prob got a miswiring somewhere

ur stock tach is off....just like KG said.......its not uncommon.......

what kind of tach is it, almost every autometer tach has three wires in the back that you may need to cut. They are little loops, brown, green and white i think.
read the manual

More info please? What exactly is the stock tach doing and what exactly is the aftermarket tach doing? How much of a difference. Is it doing this while driving or is it just doing this while idling? Is the stock tach slower than the aftermarket tach, or is it faster???

???? haha Yes I too have a techometer in my car, actually they are very common in cars with manual transmissions.

lets say my stock rpm is at 2000 then my tach would be at 4.. it is double from my stock rpm.

Or is it 2000rpms more than stock all the time??

what kind of tach do u have? but useualy your stock is off the best way to run it is stait from the distrebuter that is where it comes from ------------- sorry I spell like ****. the spell check is not working on my computer
