ok, i just turboed my gsr motor and am having detonation at the higher rpms. I have installed RC 440's, but still am not getting enough fuel. I know of a few ways to solve this, ECU reprogramming and such, but my car is just sitting in the garage and while its there i decided not to choose the quickest way. Any suggestions on the best way to fix my prob?

 

get a new pump

temporarily
run the highest octane out there, sunoco ultra 94
with a bottle of racing NOS octane booster

what FMU are you using?
what fuel pressure ?

Yea be a little more specific on your setup please. The 440's will supply all the fuel you need and then some, but only if the pump is willing to cough it up. How are you controlling the 440's? V-AFC I presume?

 

if you are indeed detonatin at high rpms your gonna explode that motor..

up your fuel press or change your disk in the fmu, or richen it up if you have a vafc. I wouldn't take it to high rpms until you solve this problem
