440's, 12:1 disc, V-AFC setup?
how wiill my car run with this setup??? i have the gen2 drag turbo system and i also have a VAFC and im going to get 440s here soon and i was wondering if this setup will do well and also if i could run 12psi+ with this setup with the airnix fuel pump in the tank...i do have the inline pro headgasket to lower compression.

you dont need the 12:1 fmu. just trim fuel from the 440s... the lower the rpm the more lean you make it, aka -50% idle -30% 7k rpm etc... guess and check method.

Ya you definitely don't want the FMU. I don't think you can run 12 psi though. I would say the injectors would max out around 10 psi.

I used to have that same set-up and it worked great.I made 380 whp at 18lbs with a t3/60-1.I had a Walbro gss317 pump and it worked well.Fuel pressure peaked at about 90lbs.Later I went to a Venom 100gph inline pump and made 434whp but it was too rich on the bottom end due to a ramp up in fuel pressure. It will work great with a in-tank pump.

are there any downsides to this setup? why don't more folks use that setup if people are making 434 to the wheels, even 380 is sick! probably drinks gas like water but that's a small price to pay...

i got 440's with a 5:1 disc with safc run 15psi every day but soon and going to try 20psi
the 12:1 disc is just going to make u run real rich at low boost and at low rpms when boost first come in
its going to hard to tune the afc good for street driving
