Default IACV Question i did search.

What i wanted to know is can your car run without the IACV?

Yes.

The engine should be able to hold an idle of about 500rpms. This is accomplished by way of the idle air bypass screw. It may not hold the idle when coming to a stop though as the IACV helps out here.
