B18C-R

i just bought a 96 JDM intergra type R and im wondering what should i replace on the motor other than the timing belt and water pump. should i replace my head gasket? please let me know.. i dont know how much milage it has. thanks

i would replace the water pump, oil pump, timing belt. might be forgetting some stuff

well, if you dont know how many miles are on the motor or the condition its in and the motors not in the car, why not just replace all of the gaskets, seals, head gasket, ect... i dont know, just a thought.

In addition to all the above check out the clutch...best time to change it. Or just change it out for something stronger.

Oh yeah a pet peeve....clean the engine bay while the engine is out.

Definately clean the bay when the motor is out, I kick myself everyday for not having the bay painted
