CRX Wet Sanded After Paint Job - Cool Flat Black Look
I spent the last 3 months doing body work and frame repair on my car. While taking a body shop class I had the chance to fix all the problems my car had. It took a long time but it's done now and we're finally wet sanding it. We wet sanded tonight up to 1000 and now all there is left to do is two buffing compounds to make her shine. Here's how it looked at the end of the night, I'll post more pics tomorrow after it's buffed and finished.

No not at all, the flat black is just what happens when you block down the clear. The car actually isn't even black. After buffing the car will be a completely different color and look as smooth as a mirror.

Good eye on spotting the Ro_ja's, they are formula 5's. It's weird no one on HT ever seems to talk about ro_ja's.

Thanks, I'm bringing a buffer and compound home tomorrow from school so the finished pics will be up. The car came home from school how it is right now with no windshield and school is about 25 miles away. It was a pretty fun ride with the wind in my face and wearing snowboard goggles to block the bugs.
my manager was bored at work one day and buffed the hood of my shitty rattle can primer. We were crackin up because it didnt look bad at all for what it was. it was as glossy as normal paint.

The color is a secret till tomorrow, the ride home was bug free but the pressure in the cabin became very unstable when I did a little rip near home (I live out in the flat land country), when going above 70 it was very noticable how much aerodynamics effect the car.
