Yes it's time for PooFace and me to exchange transmissions. Mr Turbo needs longer gears, and I want to try out the 4.0 FD, so this Sunday we do the swap. i'll be changing to GSR 5th gear ratios as well so I'll post my observations for any who care..

( and I know some of you don't care one bit..)

 

why would you need longer gears? are you really putting out that much hp to spin through the gears at 4.4?

Sorry, misprint, I'm taking his 4.9 fd and he is taking my 4.4, and yes he is wasting his tires with the first three gears of the 4.9..
