hay i was planing on putting a GSR in my EF hatch, and i was wondering if i had to do any special work ot get anything special to drop it it. i tried asking on the hybrid forums but no1 got back at me so if some1 could who had DONE it get at me.

 

a B17A1 GSR or B18C1 GSR? - either way, you will need mount kit, axles, shift linkage, cable transmission for the C1 or Hasport conversion for the hydraulic, wiring changes (depending on car model, etc.) - B18C1 not a cheap swap

 

not too much work, but a lot of little stuff here and there....look in the FAQ for b-series into ef/ed chassis guides

 

Not trying to be a search ****..but there is ALOT of good tech articles archived on this board. there is a ton of stuff written on motor swaps in rex's.

i did search, i want to know exactly what up for a GSR in a EF and i havnt seen to many articles if any that helped me out. BTW if u read i said hatch...

 

everything will be the same, swap'd in a crx or a hatch!!
i'm currently droppin' in a JDM B18c into my 89 crx si. i have a swap list that i scronged up by searching "alot". i'll email it to you if you want!?!
there's alot of different ways you could go about doing the swap. i.e. stay OBD0, go OBD1, hydro tranny, which intake manifold you'll be useing, etc..

Ummm how hard did you search??? Your search for B18 crx returned 73 results.
BTW if you searched you would have read that a crx is the same ****** swap....
