Code 7 , 10 , 14 after swap?
i have just finished a dpfi to mpfi swap motor an all an i took my time with wires an checked everything, the car turns over no problem but it idles high an i just kept the sensor on the right of the intake manifold disconnected i think its called Code 14_____Electronic air control (EACV) because i was told that i dont need it but i do have everything elese hooked up like tps and the sensor right next to it, its boxed shaped just not the far right one. well when i his the gas it like does not rev it just like trys to bog out. so my tps sensor is bad?"Code 7______Throttle angle" i just got one from the junkyard because my new motor didnt have one. Least the motor turns over an semi runs.... please help if you can
i dont have the helms in front of me, but if the TPS sensor is going off, you might have forgoten to switch the two outer wires on the plug...(code 7) when you did the mpfi setup...
no i made sure of that when i did all the wires etc, im in school so i just fig. i would ask some people so i go home an get a better idea what im looking for in helms
You do need to have the EACV plugged in. Also, make sure that you don't have the Air Intake Temp sensor and the EACV plugs mixed up. They look alike and are very easy to get mixed up. As for you TPS, it's either bad or needs to be adjusted.
