if i am using a p28 ecu off of a 93si and running it on my 92 vx d15z1 motor...would that mess up my motor because its throwing a ecu code, but when i put back the original vx ecu it runs normal with no check engine light. Although with the p28 si ecu it pulls hard and I finally can feel my vtec kick in. What would be best? thanks

 

well what wiring harness are you using ?? do you have the complete vx motor with the egr system and the different o2 sensor , if so i would reccomend finding a ex / si wiring harness , put a ex/si intake manifold on (so you can get rid of the egr system ) and then try the p28 but you will need a 4 wire 02 , feel free to pm me with any more questions , i went threw this in my sedan when i had a vx motor in there

I used a vx motor with , si intake and exhaust manifolds , a ex/si wiring harness , and a p28
and an adjustable fpr

yeah and for the note vtec roars on this sohc with this setup , loudest vtec in a sohc

 

i am using the vx wiring harness...i am thinking about putting in the si intake mani also...how much hp would i gain from these mods? also what is your set up like? hit me up...thanks man

 

i highly reccomend using the ex/si wiring harness , so you can remove the egr system
