throwing two codes. 21 (vtec) 41(primary o2)
at first it was throwing a 22, 21 and 41 i put a half quart of oil in and reset the ecu and 22 went away. but i cant seem to figure out why 21 isnt going away. its all stock wireing and all the conectors are in the right spots. any insight to how to clear this code? thanks in advance

need more info. what car, swap and ecu is it? did you check continuity from solenoid to the pin where vtec is connected to? i swear this is dejavu. did you use the same o2 sensor from the original set up. you started on the right track by resetting the ecu. now you have to trouble shoot the ones that are left. if you had access to a helms manual you can follow the flow(diagnostic) chart for each code.

you should check continuity between ecu and both the vtec solenoid switch and vtec oil pressure sw, checked your vtec solenoid screen to make sure not clogged and you check your oil pressure at idle and at 3krpm
for o2 sensor, is it a know working o2 ? did you mistakenly pop out the 4 wires and criss crossed the two black wires ?
need all the details.

the code 41 is already taken care of it was flashing that because it wasnt hooked up
so i should check the screen on the vtec seloniod and check for continuity. im gonna do that probably tonight. thanks for the tips. ill let you know if it helps or not
