Any way to rid of rev limiter without new ecu????
May sound dumb, but i was just wondering like maybe i dont know about something out there. But i just want to know if there is a way to get rid of the rev limiter or even chip an obd11 ecu, or is the only way to do it, by doing the conversion and getting a new ECU. Thanks

No i dont plaln on putting them in on stock valve train thats why they are not in yet, i am looking for some valvesprings and retainers right now if any of you ugys have some parts laying around i would be very interested. Thats why i want to get rid of my rev limiter so i can get the peak power out of these bad boys
I can't think of a mechanical way to raise the revlimiter, I know there are speed limiter removal options, but that sensor is less integral to vehicle operation than RPMS. (take my word for it)
To get your ecu "chipped" you have to remove it from the car, and bring it to someone, I have a friend in Tempe, that can do that, I'm not sure how far/close that is to ya.
