Turbo Install and Tuning Question
Well I built a custom turbo set up and for engine mangement I plan on using Hondata. Thing is I'm probably going to install the kit myself (save money and have done it before) at home. Now the place that I'm getting the Hondata installed and tuned at is about 30mins to an hour away of highway driving.
I'll be running DSM blue tops and a 255lph fuel pump and running the lowest amount of boost I can till I get there, and I'll assume that I'll be running pretty rich. I know that I should try and keep it out of boost as much as possible before getting it tuned. The only thing that really bothers me alot is the timing issue.
Will I be safe getting there w/o blowing my ringlands?

lol your not going to blow and ringlands unless you beat on it...
limp it all the way to your tuner, stay out of boost, use light throttle and you'll be fine.

Heres what I would do
Take your Ecu/hondata to the tuning shop to have them chip your Ecu, and supply you with a Basemap that will get you to the shop. Then Install your kit, plug in Hondata, drive to Tuner's in vacuum/no boost get tuned.
Btw I believe hondata themselves charge $50 to do it, so don't let this shop charge you more than that.
