Default type r sticker, BUBBLES!!

hey guys, i bought the rear type-r sticker for under the light today and applied it to the rear piece. it ended up leaving a decent sized bubble on the R. is there any wayn i can remove it or should i just leave it, it looks kind of ugly. are there any tricks to remove bubbles?

argh! thanks guys.

try poking the bubble with a pin (carefully and in an inconspicuous part of the sticker) and pushing the air out.

Where did you pick up the ITR decals from, and how much did they cost?

Is that the rear sticker for $25? or the whole set? I would like to get a set because I'm thinking of removing my stickers.

Heat it up with a hair dryer (not too hot though), put a towel against the sticker and just push the bubble out towards the edge of the sticker. Did that make any sense? Seems kinda confusing when I'm reading it back Anyway, hope that keeps you from spending another $25.

hey chris, i tried the blow drier thing before i used the pin, and all that did was stretch out the sticker a bit and make it look like it looks now. i just used a small pin and poked a little hole and pushed the air out, should have done that first, oh well. i'll live with it for now. thanks for the tip tho.

No problem, sorry it didn't work Doesn't look that bad up close, I'm sure it doesn't look bad at all in person.

I thought you are supposed to apply the stickers like you do with tint. Use a sudsy solution and then squeegee all the air and liquid out from under it. That way there aren't any bubbles.

well after i put the sticker on, i realized that i should have started on one end, and worked my way with a credit card or something to the other end. i messed up because i was trying to make the sticker line up, but it still got jacked because it ended up being too low. atleast its straight. oh well, you live and you learn. im actually gonna go wash my baby right now!
