WHAT TIRES TO USE?????
wow, and i was worried about fitting 16's on mine. i dont have much experience with larger rims, but from what i gatherd from others i think you should get a very narrow tire like a 195/50/18, but then even with that i think you may have some clearence problems so you might have to roll out your wheel wells a little bit, your best bet might be to sell the overkill 18's and buy a nice set of 15's for it, i think they look just as good maybe even better with the right tire on them. either way, good luck bud.

I have 205/50/15 falken azenis on my car now. During the winter I ran 195/60/15 studded snow tires, which by the way are the funnest tires I ever owned, doing drifts in a 91 crx was fun as hell.

oh ok problem solved, if you are looking for a show room car go with a nice set of 16's with 205/40/16 on it, you will find that with the low profile tire they are the same size as the stock 14's with a stock tire on them. you should not have any clearence issues(although every rim is different so do some research) and your car will look awesome. it is a really clean look. oh and 215's are wide as hell and that might be a problem with the 18"rim any one who has tried a 18" rim please let this guy know what he will have to do, good luck

lol.... now you want to sell them... ahhh thats funny...
215/35/18 would work. i'm not sure about rubbing on tight turns, but those wheels should fit.

i never tell anyone that their car does not look good, if you put your own work intosomething then that cool. i just dont like big rims, i think it is over kill and it makes the car look like an old fashion coverd wagon. if you are dead set on the big rims, you might want to consider a widebody kit or somthing like that, if you are gonna have a big rim, you might as well have a fat *** tire to go with it. bump it up again, i feel your pain with the rim situation.

At least if you are going to be putting these massive rims on there, get a brake upgrade. The stock discs are going to look tiny as hell, so if going for the look grab some wilwoods while you're at it. That in my opinion is the number one killer of big wheels on cars - little dinky brakes.
are you not LISTENING?
205/35/18 ....
go to clubsi.com if you want more info... if you haven't learned already most people here are into form and function... 18" wheels are stupid to most people here. most people here run anything from a 13" to a 16" wheel and even the 16" wheel is too big for most people.
geez...

at the most i would go with 17's. the 18's are just too big for a little car like the CRX. i have 17's on my CRX and i wish i had some 14's or 15's.
is your car lowered at all, cause if it is then you will have major issues. if it isn't then you might be able to do 18's, but don't go wider than 205. but take my word for it, 17's are plenty big enough.

if i knew everything i would'nt think i did, i would know i did. i would go with 205/50/15 because i have 15's. most replies to your post said it was'nt a good idea to run 18's and people with 18's are saying they regret it so what do you think? you already know 18's are gonna look sick so why bother asking? why not go with 20's? don't let people's opinions, that you asked for, have any bearing on your decision. get some spinners yo. that'd be tight fool.
