I'm about to buy a 92-95 cx/dx hatch and am planning on swapping in a d16z6 before I turbo it. What is needed besides the engine/tranny for this swap? Do I need new axles? The z6 ecu? Shift linkage? Is anything not a direct replacement between mounting and wiring the one engine with the other? Any help would be appreciated.

 

everything will line up the same. You will need a new ECU and need to add 2 wires for vtec.

 

Thanks... do I need new diff axles? Anything else I should replace (waterpump, thermostat, etc)?

 

ur current axles will work. Replace what ever u can afford to.. (waterpump, oil pump etc..)

 

im doing the same thing but i have a 89 civic dx any help ... please cause the motor in it now is acting up badly......
