Default P28 ECU on a Ls/vtec

Hey whats up guys? I'm obviously new to this forum but i'm not complety new to honda fortunately, any i'm gonna make this short and simple.
I'm building an LS/Vtec (1991 b18a1 block + b16 head) so right now all i need is an ecu and since i'm using hondata a P28 is compatible with hondata but i don't know if its compatible with the LS/Vtec? Does anyone have a p28 running their ls/vtec?
thanks in advance

Yes P28 + hondata + LS/Vtec is fine.

Your tuner should have answered this question for you.

If you do not have a tuner yet, find one, and consult him, find out what he is comfortable tuning.
