Engine flooded. Bent Rods. How to fix?
Hello,
Somebody is offering me a K20A flooded engine for a fair price. He says one of the rods are bent. Replacing the rods is fairly easy, but, what other damage can a hydrolock cause?

Could torpedo (
) a rod through the block, or crack a sleeve, etc.
The only way to be sure is to take everything to a machine shop. Ask him if you both can drop it by a machine shop and see what the verdict is before buying it.
