Default Engine flooded. Bent Rods. How to fix?

Hello,

Somebody is offering me a K20A flooded engine for a fair price. He says one of the rods are bent. Replacing the rods is fairly easy, but, what other damage can a hydrolock cause?

Could torpedo ( ) a rod through the block, or crack a sleeve, etc.

The only way to be sure is to take everything to a machine shop. Ask him if you both can drop it by a machine shop and see what the verdict is before buying it.

Is not local. How about I just get a K24 complete block and swap it in?
Head is good and transmission is good as well as ECU.

Other than tearing down the engine, there is no way to know the exact extent of the damage.
