Whats the safiest lowest VAFC VTEC Engagement Point ?
Just curious what is the lowest you lowered your VTEC engagement point using Apexi VAFC on a ITR ?
Whats recommended and whats low within being safe?
Thanks for replies ahead of time

Has nothing to do with the safest.....You need to put it on the dyno and find out where to most powerful point is
yea i am goin to a dyno soon probably within a week i was just looking to get an idea
Thanks for the post
Thanks for the post
I would not set it much below stock. Car looses power within a few hundred RPMs. The high RPM lobes flow too much to be activated at lower PRMs.
Personally, I would leave it at stock till you can get it dynoed...

go use the seat of the pants dyno. if it kicks real hard and snaps you back when it engages, you have it too high. if you feel the car bog, it is too low. you can get pretty close with that method.
