Has anyone tried this??? I want to do it but Im afraid the valves will hit the pistons, im milling 20 thou of the head (.5mm) and using a Y8 HG with the middle layer pulled out. Hoping for mid 10 cr.

I want to know if the valve clearance will be good enough for a 59300 and a cam gear (+-3degrees)

 

as far as your clearence issue with the 59300 cam it has .468" valve lift. oh what pistons are you going to use if stock you'll be fine and since there is no specs on this cam yet as far as degreing that i've seen set up your cam gear at 2dgrs r. just to start out .

 

are your calculations with a 020 milled head and 2 layer HG??
