Default Milling head & valve clearance..

I want to mill my Y8 head 20thou. This is on a stock bottom end. I'll also be making other mods and increasing the redline to 8000rpm. After milling 20thou, will I still have sufficient valve/piston clearance at 8000rpm?

Also, would a run-of-the-mill AEM adjustable cam gear be okay to properly correct the timing after milling the head?

There shoudn't be a problem if your cams are stock and your valve train can handle 8k

What about with a more aggressive cam? Any idea what the actual clearance numbers are like?
