i have a boosted 2k2 civic dx d17 with a stafford fabrications turbo kit...i purchased this missing link because several of my boosted friends on 7thgencivic.com recommended it...a cheap FORD check valve is what came with the kit, so i wanted something a little nicer...the check valve that came with the kit alows the car to run good...but the synapse is just suppose to make things better...well when i installed the missing link, i did everything the instructions said to do...unhook the battery, clear the cels, and install...well when i started the car, it started right off idling strange...rpms going up and down...didnt really want to have a steady idle...really boggy, like it was floodin out...when i tried driving it, it was still really boggy like it was flooding out...but when boost kicked in it would haul a$$...pulled so much hard than with the check valve that came with kit....but then when i would slow down, the car would back fire every now and then....then when i stopped, the car died like it did flood it out...took a second to start car back up....when i got home, i put the FORD check valve back in started the car back up, and it was like nothing was wrong...i dont understand...i thought that the synapse was suppose to be better.....or is it just showing me that my car is running rich and the synapse make a better vaccuum and pointing out a problem that the FORD check valve dont show up.....the fuel setup for the kit is a modded vortech fmu with an inliine fuel pump conected...(link)

it is to make the car run rich under boost because of the returnless fuel setup.....
so do any of you just think that the reason that the missing link isnt workin correctly is because i am running toooo rich...i no that i am running rich because i can smell it, and every now and then i can see gas come out my muffler....let me know guys...

i just got safc2 to help tune this thing a little, but i want to tune it with the synapse missing link...let me know what you think
