I have a 93 CX and today as i was driving home i noticed a rattling noise coming from the bottom of my car. I know its not my brakes. It only rattles at 3500 RPMs and i have no CEL. My guess is its coming from my header/piping or my tranny. Can someone that knows what this might be help me out?

its your heat shield in your CAT,

take that bitch off

 

that or the spring bolts are lose

 

Try inspecting the slave cylinder (if hydro-tranny), clutch fork and tranny mounts... maybe your tranny isn't bolted right...

also check the motor mounts... maybe one if them is loose a bit so it shatters when driving making this awful noise...
