Default headlight problems

ok i can drive at night for abaout a half hour then my lioghts start to flash on and off, even if i put the brights on, but if i pull the lever back the brights will stay on but i can still see the regular lights flashing?!?and if i turn the lights off for 5 minutes i can drive another 30 min!!any ideas?

check your grounds, i had that problem, added a 8 gauge wire to the negative terminal and grounded it, worked for me

No biggie, it prob. is your grounds or your multifunction switch, somthings getting crummed up and after so long it starts to creat an open and they turn off.

blow any fuses at all?

ill wadger to bet that you have a short somewhere. the breaker for the headlights are like the turn signal flasher relay, so if you do have a short you don't loose lights completely, al least you have sometime to get off the road

Thats what I was getting at.

I asked if he'd blown any fuses cause if he has, then he has a short somewhere.
