The internals are different between the OBD0 and the OBDI distributors. If you want to run the OBDI dizzy then you have to use an OBDI ECU and a conversion harness then just get OBDI plugs for your engine harness.

No. The internals are different. OBD-O differs from 92+.

i am confused on how you are doing this? is your crx converted to obd1 and you are just saying you run the obd1 distributor. or are you in fact saying you are still pre obd and you are running the obd1 distibutor? just trying to clear this up.

Obd1 distributor works with obd1 and obd2 vice versa with obd2 not obd0

Obd0 works on obd0, not obd1 or 2 or 2.1 or whatever else there is.

You need to match injectors, oxygen sensors, and the computer to the distributor or the car WILL NOT run.

yes, he must be converted to obd1. otherwise an obd1 dist will not allow the car to run if the rest of the electronics are obd0.

I actually knew that, but the way apex made his statement made it sound like he was running an obd1 distributor on his obd0 car (engine and everything else.) thats what confused me.

Just get another distributor unless you want to spend even more $$ converting to obd-1
