Default dyno from my ITR

I've never posted over here before but figured you guys would like to see some more dyno's.
Car was originally set up for turbo but I sold the turbo setup and threw in the ITR header, pistons and VAFC....now we are NA all the way.

We couldnt get any more fuel into it with out running silly fuel pressure so needless to say bigger injectors are in my future.

set up:
Motor and Drive train
B18C5 block Golden Eagle Sleeved
Stock ITR head and cams
Endyn 12.2:1 comp. strutted pistons 84.5mm
Crower Rods
Apexi VAFC
ARP Head bolts
Endyn Ported Intake manifold
Comptech Ice Box
Mugen Thermostat
Mugen Oil Cap
DC Sports short shifter
JUN lightweight flywheel
Clutchmaster stage 3 Clutch
GSR 5th Gear (172mph top speed)
MSD High Power Anti Vibration Coil and Distributor cap
LHT Performance Engine Damper
Endyn Catch Can
Fluidyne Radiator

Exhaust System
JDM 98 spec 4-1 header (un ported)
Test Pipe
Mugen Twinloop Exhaust

Fuel
Prelude 91-96 injectors
B&M fuel pressure Reg.
Walboro 255lph fuel pump
Apexi VAFC

Engine Management
JDM 98 spec ITR ecu
J&S v2 Safeguard

Suspension/Brakes
Acura NSX front Calipers
Acura Legend 28mm front rotors
LHT Performance Master Cylinder Brace
Mugen Sport Type R Coilover system
Mugen 26mm rear sway bar
Mugen Front and rear tower bars (authentic)

Damn, very good numbers considering the stock head and cams.

A little bit of headwrok and a nice cam/spring/retainer package and that thing will be a monster.

That's a good start. Your motor is capable of more, as you well know

thanks for the kind word everyone

The car is a constant work in progress, I will be returning to the dyno in the next couple of weeks with some more goodies.

"Strutted pistons" what do you mean by that? Raised pin?

I would like to know.

The easiest way to explain what they look like is that the skirt is not a complete circle. When you see one you will know what I mean. I will try and find a pic.

That's the part that amazes me the most.

you can see them at Endyn's web site. Very similar to S2000 pistons.

'200whp ain't easy' -true, and there's a lot of work/$ in this setup, but w/a better header, cams, and better engine management/tuning, it's easily there, + some. nice build.

btw Bob, i sent the $ for the 310s.

decent numbers, yes, but did anybody else realize that this motor is 84.5mm w/ 12.2/ c.r.? ITR cams make very good tq numbers, so, i'm not really suprised at the results, the h.p #'s are o.k., but not impressive. this is by no means a dis to this build up, its just that i've seen b18c1's w/11.5/1 c.r. and ITR cams put up those #'s with an 81mm bore. the tq #'s, ....well.....that's a different story. good luck on your progress.

BC spec III cams and a T1R header would make that graph go to 2 + and yield a nice midrange rpm on that CR.

I might take some pics of the car tomorrow. I will post em up if I do.

Well I did a header swap already, found a DC Race header and picked that up. We cut the muffler off and attached it to my Mugen exhaust.
Car feels a hell of alot stronger everywhere!!

back to the dyno
