went back to turbo
I have been doing the NA thing for a bit and it just wasnt cutting it so I went back to boost.
I have had 370+hp to the wheels with a different set up so I know what big power is all about. On this set up I decided to go back to what I started with....small turbo, instant boost, great drivability...and CHEAP! I've got $1200 in the whole kit.
I am only running a JR FMU at the moment but standalone is right around the corner. FMU is not that bad at all though, I ve got a V2 J&S hooked up to pull 1degree of timing per pound of boost. Car drives absolutely fantastic, I will never do big turbo again..
LHT Performance (727-344-1800) in Pinellas Park, Fla did the whole thing. They are awesome!

Re: went back to turbo (scooter)
yeah nothign compared to the power my small turbo gave me. not all out power but get up n go power hell yeah, my torque drops off big time up top but my HP kept on climibing, whenever i'd shift on the ls tranny i'd fall back into my sweet spot so that was alwyas good.

heh, it looks like you got a turbo for an early le baron, 84-87. your gonna have to buy or fab an adapter so you can stick an inlet hose on that thing.
good stuff though, i like it.

Re: went back to turbo (project dc2)
That car looks really good.
I like the setup too.
<---waiting for some numbers. midrange power on that thing must be very nice.
I've always hated stickers. But that Mugen side decal isn't actually too bad, goes with the car pretty well.
