i just found this vtec controler at the junk yard it was in a d16 civic, the car got wrecked and i asked the guy how much. $25! so i have the modual and about 12 inches of wires from the back. how do i hook this bitch up? (going into a bolt on z6 with zex)

 

what type of vtec controller? Apexi has instruction manual pdf on their web site

 

Well you don't say what kind of vtec controller it is so personally I'd say duct tape it on top of your vtec solenoid and you should be good to go.
