COmparing those kits, 7 psi would be about the same, whichever route you go.

When you start doing more, more boost, more other mods, the GReddy kit will outshine the Jackson Supercharger by a long shot, but it still sucks compared to a custom built turbo system.

That is very true. Custom Turbo system is the way to go.

so would a sc be better if your only running stock booost due to the fast boost on a A6 and they can only rev up to 7000rpm..

Fast boost with a supercharger is a misconception... A correctly sized turbo will spool up just as fast as a supercharger. Hell, the GReddy kit spools well before 3k rpm on a D series... How often do you launch your car to race below 3k rpm?

and how often do you go below 4500-5000 rpms when shifting, people say sc for teh low end power, your only there for a second or less, so whats teh point, turbo lag is more like traction control. Turbo is also cheaper, and more efficient. and has more potential.

7psi from a turbo will make more power.

I have had two blowers on my Honda's and am building my first turbo car just because I got tired of them. I would go for the turbo.

actually i luach at 1700-2000 rpm....but yah i guess turbo sounds like the way to go...would a custom turbo be "better" (in general) then a greddy turbo for an A6 if im only goin stock boost??

and nice to know that Greddy gets boost before 3k....i didnt kno that...
o yah one more thing....the reason i was considering SC because ive heard alot of people blowing there motor and since i dont have a rev limiter i thought itd be better to SC but correct me if im wrong

you can still BLOW ur motor with a S/C its all about Tunning..... check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com they got some crazy **** going on... good HP numbers for a stock internals...but Turbo is the way to go like some dude here said... oh and Turbo LAG was never a problem.. some people use 25,35 shots of nitrous to help on that lag... but just get the right size turbo for ur motor.. you're good to go. I was running a T3 garret turbo on my Soch Vtec.. act stage 3 clutch and some other mods... let me tell u .. once u go turbo u never want to go back.. i sold that car now i got another crx si with LS Vtec.. can't wait to drop a turbo on that one....
