I was just curious as to how EXACTLY a rev limiter works. Does it cut the coltage going to the coil at a specific RPM? Or does it cut the voltage going somewhere else?

 

Stock honda Rev limiters are Fuel Cut I believe

Two steps, MSD boxes are Ignition Cut

I have my two step setup To cut the coil at a certian RPM and higher, as the revs drop fromno spark the Coil comes back on.. Then it revs back up to cut spark agian and repeats itself
