obd2 del sol with an obd1 gsr engine.

it runs with an obd2 p28 just fine, but using an obd1 jumper harness, the obd1 p72 runs like *** and cuts off at 4500rpm

HELP ME HELP A FRIEND, the only thing i can think of is his shock tower harness is not compatible

the original engine in the del slo was a d16z6

what harness did you use and did you repin and add all required wiring?

 

its the b18 harness
del sol d16z6 shock tower harness,
a obd2-obd1 jumper ecu harness

elaborate on "re-pin" if the del sol is obd2 , and the engine is obd1, what needs to be re-pinned? all the wires match up on the dist btw

 

no such thing as an OBD2 P28
