Default OBD2 motor on OBD1 harness?

ok heres the skinny, i have a 2000 gsr motor, in my 95 gsr, theft recovery.
the harness was all cut up and i tried to resolder a new on ein, but.. that didnt happen, sooo.

i have a 95 del sol harness here (dohc vtec) will my motor run with that instead?

i know that there is one plug missing on the pass side shock tower, but its for the Crank Speed Fluctuation Sensor (something i am not running anyway.)

a del sol wiring harness is on the right track, but its going to take a lot more. Alot of sensors on a 2000 GSR engine have OBD2 plugs, not to mention the secondaries aren't wired, I think the injectors, alternator, and few other plugs on the car won't match up with your del sol harness.....

You might have to change out a few of your OBD2 sensors for OBD1 sensors....Don't quote me on this, but I believe that is your problem..

Good luck

Yea i think scott is on the right track, you may as well do a full OBD-2 to OBD-1 conversion. And get a Skunk 2 GSR manifold, because if you use a OBD-1 harness for a Sol you gonna be eliminating teh 2ndary butterlys. And theres alot of stupid useless **** on the OBD-2 harness. 3 plug vs 4 plug, more emissions controll stuff on the OBD-2 harness.
