Clutch problem. Please help. I'm stranded

Right now I'm stuck in Queens. At the intersection of Hillside and Springfield. Coming out a gas station, my car started to drive on it's own. I soon realized that I couldn't get out of first gear. I managed to pull over, and I started to look for problems. I soon realized that the slave clutch cylinder is fine, but that clutch fluid is dripping near the master cylinder. There is no fluid dripping from the interior side of the car i.e. near the clutch pedal. Once I fill the fluid and pump the pedal I notice that fluid is slowly (very slowly) dripping out near the engine area.
I don't have the proper tools to jack up the car and see where the fluid is exactly coming from, but I'm 95 percent sure that the master cylinder is at fault.
I'm using an ACT XTSS, and last fall the slave cylinder broke on me. I replaced the stock slave which is made out of plastic with a metal. Now, I'm wondering if there is a stronger slave clutch cylinder for a 99 accord? Also, people with extreme pressure plates, do you experience the same problem.
Thanks

i would replace your master i guess although mine did leak into the interior. when you add fluid and pump the clutch the i assume the fluid is flowing in. maybe once of your lines is messed up. if the master is junk, it may not pressurize easily. how did you determine your slave was junk??

I don't quite understand what your asking, but my slave cylinder broke a few months ago. This is a few weeks after that I upgraded to XTSS bytheway. The slave cylinder was made out of plastic, and there was a small crack where the fluid was leaking through. I replaced the broken slave cylinder with one made of solid steel/metal instead of plastic.
Hope it clarifies. Anyhow so your saying that it's possible that the master is broken despite that there is no brake fluid in side the car??
Thanks

so your slave will probably leak then if it's failing??
i was just doing some searching here. you may want to check the soft line for leaks that goes to the resevoir. how does your clutch pedal feel?? does it come back up and does the free play seem to be different than what your used.
i'm having some weird problems myself. my clutch feels like it goes out of adjustment, i lose my free play, and the clutch starts to slip. this is all temp dependent too. in the morining or at night it's fine, i can tear through my gears. in traffic or this warmer 70 degree weather it's f'd up.

hmmm well it might be temperature related, since it was the warmest day of the year today. However, that wouldn't explain the dot 3 fluid dripping. I got a leak somewhere, but I don't know where. Probably the master.
"so your slave will probably leak then if it's failing??"
Well, when I had problems with my slave I saw some fluid around the slave cylinder. Once I took it off to take a closer look I saw a crack. As mentioned, once I replaced the slave made out of plastic with one made of metal, I noticed that the clutch pedal got a little softer. Same engagement, but less force on my part. Also, I used DOT4 fluid which is better at higher temperatures. Perhaps you should try DOT4. On the other hand, check if the fluid in the reservoir changes with time. Well if it decreases you probably got a leak.
As far as the rubber hose, I checked it. And it's intact. Thanks for the help bro.

i'm dropping my car off at my friends shop again tommorrow. there probably going to do the slave cylinder. i should find out what fluid they are using, but i would think they would use DOT 4.
of course all this **** happens when i want to sell my damn car.

Well good luck. Are they telling you why they are replacing the slave?
Are you planning to get another car?

Does anyone know the make of the stock clutch master cylinder? I noticed that Tokico makes one. Is that the stock, or does it acctually perform better?
thanks
thanks
when i was searching the forum i think someone said nissin makes the master and slave cylinders.
they will probably replace the slave since it's the next logical thing to check. of course if it's not the slave then i just fixed something that wasn't broke. unfortunetly they have not had the problem when they have test driven it. the good thing is my dad drove it last night so my dad can back me up on their being a problem. he thinks it's a defective master, since my problem started about 2 weeks after the master was replaced about 6 weeks ago.
i'm selling my car cause i want an '04 WRX. i really want a V6 6sp coupe also, but the AWD and the 1.9& financing is hard to pass up.

WRX
I really wish someone would tell me if there is a better clutch master cylinder than stock. Anyhow, I'm on my way to lift up the car and see what's really going on.
Last night, I drove my car from Queens to Long Island without changing gears. Well, each time I pulled over stalled, and restarted the car in another gear.

wow that must have been a fun ride home. on monday when it was like 80s degrees up here. i had to rev the motor to about 4k to take off in first gear and then the car slowly got up to speed. it sucked. i was able to the car to the shop last night and it didn't slip, but the shop is like 5 min from house and it was cooler out. i really hope it's the slave cylinder. i can't imagine it being the clutch cause you would think it would do it all the time.
