breaking in engine?
I just rebuilt a d16y8 (new bearings and such). what i should do and how long to properly break it in. And can i drive i the highway if i keep it at low rpm's? Thanks

theres a link that was posted here about breaking in a motor saying you dont have to and to beat on it to properly break it in. if anyone has that link post it up, i cant find it.

To properly break in an engine you should drive it as you normally would to seat the rings properly. Also use dino for 2 or 3 oil changes before switching to synthetic.
