No Memory in newly installed player
I am new to any of this stuff, but the other day I swithed out my wife's original radio/tapeplayer from her 94 civic hatchback and I put in a newer Pioneer radio/tapeplayer that I had laying around. Anyway everything is running smoothly except the fact that the new player won't remember any of the presets that I change. Every time you turn off the car and turn it back on the Bass, Treble, radio presets, clock, etc. go back to their original settings. I know that this is probably an easy fix but I am just not seeing it. Any help be soooooo appretiated.

you need to check your wiring...there should be two power wires... red and yellow... yellow needs to go to a constant power to keep the settings active...whereas red goes to ignition...to power the rest of the radio when the car is on.

Exactly ,on the newer Pioneers every wire is marked so no confusion.
