Default CD player keeps starting over

Hey when ever I turn off my car and then start it back up the CD player starts at the first song. Is it just the cd player I have? Or is it hooked up wrong?

It's hooked up wrong. Someone wired your constant to your accessory 12v.

Wire constant to constant and accessory to accessory. How much detail can we give you if we don't know what stereo or what car you have?
