d16y8 sohc vtec??
i have a 2000 civic ex with a d16y8 engine and it dont say vtec on it anywhere?? people say its vtec but i cant feel it kick in? why is that? can u guys help me please...

yeah its vtec.
if it not saying vtec really bothers you..
then you can get the valve cover off a acura 1.6EL from canada.
which says 1.6 VTEC on it.
you cant feel it kick in because its a weak motor and theres nothing to kick in.

You can't really hear or feel VTEC in a SOHC VTEC engine....
You can't really hear VTEC in a bone stock DOHC VTEC engine either... but you sure as hell can feel it.
Jason- I found you some injectors (D16z6) How much were you looking to spend? LMK...........
