For USDM it was D16A1 in the 86-89 Integra, D16A8/9 EDM, D16A3(?) in New Zealand and Australia. 86-87 USDM D16A1 had 113hp, 88-89 USDM D16A1 had 118hp. They are only good for swapping into 84-87 Civics/CRXs because they share engine/tranny mount locations. They are a giant pita to swap into 88+ Civics/CRXs because all the engine/tranny mount locations are different, and there are much better choices for the 88+ like the Z6, Y8, or any B-series.
actually the d16a8/9 (one is MPFI one is carb'd) are basically ZC engines. they came in the EDM 88-91 civic/crx Si's
but he is right. even though the 88-89 teg engines look almost 100% like a regular dohc ZC they are a pita to fit into a 88-91
besides LisaCivic, arent you swappin a b18 in?
