Default help please!

On my 1995 Accord (auto) when I am in drive and accelerate my car hesitates. What I mean is there is no power and the revs don’t register properly. When the power delivery does happen it is in the form of a jolt not smooth power delivery. You can compare what is happening to say a “Lugged” engine when the gears are just not shifting in sync. Can anyone help or give suggestions I would really appreciate it.
THANK YOU.

Sounds like your transmission is going out.

torque converter or injecters is what i would check first. if those are good then move on to plugs and wires and filters.

im having kinda the same problem with mine but its not as extreme as yours

This is going to be a famous quote on this site- Check the basics first. Inspect the secondary igntion system (plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor), igition timing, fuel pressure and delivery volume, engine cranking and running compression and valve adjustment. If all of these things check out ok, go looking for other problems in the powertrain or drivetrain.

Where the hell are you from cause it clearly states that it is an auto and the is no clutch in an auto. well done.

I still say it is the transmission but you could try and have a tranny flush to see if that helps.

It is caused by the torque converter going bad or poor pressure in the system.

Ok smart *** you have said to check the basics almost ten times and i understand that you are trying to keep him from spending tons of money by replacing the trans. but you are just being annoying and everything you have said should have been the things he checked before coming on here and asked.

you could find a new tranny to install for a total of around 200 bucks or less if you look. try going to ur local junkyard and see what they have. that or look here on honda-tech in the classifieds. why tear a tranny apart and fix it when you can just get a better one and install it no problem?

oh and by the way jfastman... dont talk to 01accordv6 like that... Offical ****** rule all.... YYYyyyEEEeeeAAAAAaaaaHHHHhhhh!!!!
