Pounding ROCK Songs
Rap is cool, but I need some rock songs with a lot of bass,
Chevelle - Comfortable Liar
Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood
Korn - Freak on a leash
Sublime - Riot

Sublime - Riot
ZAO - lies of serpents, a river of tears
Its not like the other songs like you posted by the clearity of the bass is amazing and you can really turn it up without it getting all distorted.

You'd be surprised by how hard some songs by artists like Sting and Seal hit...
But...
Pretty much all LP, Coheed and Cambria, Santeria - Sublime, Evanescence, Track 2 on chevelle(maybe comfortable liar, I don't know), The new Owsley cd, Phish - The Story of the Ghost(entire cd), Pink Floyd - Wish you were here(entire CD), AFI - Death of Seasons, Rammstein - Feuer Frei. Opeth - Blackwater Park(entire cd)
Most of that stuff is more SQ bass than SPL though, but that's part of the rock thing.

Down with the sickness kicks.
Believe it or not The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army has a lot of bass even though they dont have a bass player.
Gorillaz feat. D12 - 911 has some low end bass
311 - beautiful disaster
I'll think of some more..................

Korn's first album was pretty heavy on the (guitar) bass.
Some of the Tool stuff
Slipknot
But, i don't think rock's really known for pounding bass, it's all about the bass drum or the bass guitiar-both capable of hitting hard and most importantly, TIGHT!
