Default H22 DC2?

Don't be fooled by my name, I don't have an h22 in the dc2 yet. Just wondering though...I know there are people out there that have done this? I just wanted to know how hard it is as opposed to doing it in a hatch or whatever else it has been put in. I know the mounts arn't cheap. I know the work is hard but in my area(tampa,fl) there are no tegs with h22's. Absolutely none. And if there are, then its still not something done alot or even on its way to being the new trend. And im thinking wiring would be a little different. This might be something that people do all the time but I have never heard of it where I live. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It's exactly like putting one in an EG. There will be a few wiring issues, and you will need to mount the shifter, but all of the necessary information can easily be found in the hybrid forum here on Honda-Tech.

HASport has a mount kit for it and when getting your H22 make sure you get the shift linkage assembly cuz its hard to find. My friend has a turbo H22 in his integra with a different mount kit and his motor is cool.

i'll see if i can get a pic of it.

I do know that the manifold sits too high on his and he has hood clearance problems so he cut a hole in the hood for clearance.

I do know that full race is making a manifold that has a manifold that will sit lower.
This is a prototype.

Sorry about the Size.

the FR kit for that h22 is currently in an accord and it will have solid hasports mounts to eliminate the front motor mount. i KNOW the teg engine bay will already be cramped with a h22. i wonder if the kit will fit a h22 teg?!?!

by seeing how low the manifold is form fullrace and seeing the manifold on my friends car i'm sure it will be perfect for the tegh22 swap. Since the manifold don't loop over the height of the vavle cover.

You should goto:
http://www.hybridautomotive.com
They specialize in H22 swaps. I think they have a pic or two of one in a DC2 on their site. They would be the ideal people to talk to about this swap. Jeff is a fantastic person, and is always happy to answer questions no matter how simple, or "dumb" the question is. Give them a call, you can find their number on the site.
H22 would make for a fun swap, and I think you should do it. Im curious, why not the K20? Lighter, almost as much torque, same HP, 6-speed, etc...? Im sure thats still pretty rare over in Florida, as its still pretty rare anywhere else in the world. Just curious, Im not by any means saying that the K20 is better and that you are making a bad mistake, just want to know your thoughts.
