Default Shock Absorbers swap

Hello !!
Is it possible to swap serial shock absorbers from Civic 1.5 V-Tec '96 to 1.5 16v '93(EG4)? Both cars are hatchbacks

ooh, like oem, or stock, shocks?

yes it is possible to swap them,
but I believe that either the fork that the shock attaches to,
or the LCA are not the same size, so you'd have to swap one of those over too,

I forget which it is though, maybe someone can clarify.

well, i know that integra struts can be put on a 92-95 (eg) or a 96-00 (ek), so i'd imagine that ek struts can go onto an eg....
somebody tell me i'm wrong....?

Tnx to all.
The thing is that the frend crashed his '96 Civic. He had stock (that the word ) absorbers and H&R (front) and Eibach (rear) springs. So, we thought that it's possible just to swap whole thing (absorber & spring).

lower control arm

you could just swap the springs,
those would definetly work without any hassle.

Front absorbers are the same but the rear absorbers are not the same. The abs from 6gen can be put on 5gen but from 5gen cannot be put on 6 gen.
