Default Intake Squealing, any suggestions?

About a month ago, I installed an AEM V2 CAI onto my 2000 Accord SE (F23A1). The install went fairly fast, and everything is working pretty well, except for when I reach about 2,300ish RPM (under load), there is a squealing coming from the front right area of my engine bay (so I'm assuming its the CAI). I took off the intake, and re-mounted it onto the throttle body assuming that perhaps it wasn't fully on, to no avail, the intake still squeals. While in park, if I rev the engine to 2500ish RPM, there is no squealing, only while in drive. I tryed to check the clamps on the breather tube (is that what its called?), I readjusted them, and tightened them as tight as possible, but that didn't solve it. Any other ideas / solutions? Or do CAI's normally do that? Thanks alot, all help is appreciated.

intakes when you give them a good amount of gas will make a louder sound, but it tends to be a deeper tone (at least for short rams). i dont know if cold air intakes and short rams produce a different sound but i know that they are louder than a stock intake.

Yea, the intake definately produces a louder (deeper) sound, but along w/ that, above 2,300 RPM, it also squeaks.

Is it mounted at the right angle? I know this sounds simple but it can make a huge difference. Of course you have the filter on the end right? There are no obstructions? If the air hits it right it will squeal.

Its the air flow into your throttle body making that noise, just adjust it until it doesn't squeak.

To adjust it there is a screw on the IM right by the throttle body should be towards the front of the car on the IM. Adjust it until it goes away, its a common problem.

Well, I went out there to try and adjust it, but couldn't find the screw. Is it just a normal screw? Or is it a bolt? I'll take another look tomorrow when its lighter out... Thanks alot. Any other tips for finding it?

Here is a far away pic....I can take closer shots if needed.

It is just to the passenger side of your throttle cable, it should be a flat screw going into the IM.

Edit: changed the pic b/c that bay was dirty

its happened to me before with my civic when i had a new intake on it. I think its because of a clean new air filter. not really sure, but it will wear off after a while.
