OK,
first off, i was in traffic today and i was still and instead of first i accidentaly
put it into 3rd. The car reall violently jerked, but should it have STALLED??

Also I just started driving schtick (as u can see from above lol) i was wondering
if it will be safe for me to get a short shifter like will it be bad for the tranny
(searching for an answer to this doesnt exist) anyway im tired of driving a bus.

other than keeping out of a high gear when at a low speed no

 

is there any diffrence to keeping the stock shifter in high gear at low speeds.
I didnt know this affects the tranny in any way.

no short shifter won't mess up your tranny as long as you will drive car normal and shift slow under normal conditions, aka don't rape it thru gears unless you need to. It's a personal preference. Don't worry about it the whole 3rd gear thing.

 

I start out in third gear all the time when I am street racing. It gets me in to the m4d 3rd g34r vt4ch y0!
