Hi guys,

My friend has an EG civic with a JDM B16A engine and tranny (Y21).

It has no lsd.

Do you think we can buy and fir the JDM 4.785 final drive kit and install it with no problems eventhough it does not have an lsd please?

Do we need any additional parts than the parts supplied with the JDM 4.785 FD kit ?

the FD should work. Don't see why it shouldnt.

 

to run the JDM 4.785 FD.. you will need to run ITR/GSR differential as the Si/LS differential have smaller differential and ring gear..good luck

That's interesting........ so do you think that if we don't change the differential for an ITR one we will not be able to fit the fd ?

Without the GSR/ITR differential, it won't work. The inner diameter of the JDM FD ring gear is 4.5" vs. the 4.25" stock ring gear in b16/ls trannies.
