JDM B18c with JDM b16 tranny
Alright I found it intresting that the JDM b16a2 tranny has shorter gears than the b18c tranny, I've searched and i've heard this was a good combo swap, so with the JDM 94-97 GSR motor with the JDM b16 tranny with the Type R 4.785 final gear would work pretty good?

Yes a jdm b16 tranny with a jdm Type R final drive, like you mentioned , 
would be better that a Jdm GSR tranny. It will basically be a 98+ JDM Type R tranny without the factory LSD.
