Default K20A2 in '99 Civic

I heard that it was possible to fit the k20a2 in the 99 civic. is this tru??

and how much would an engine swap cost for labor.. lets say like an itr engine.

could someone plz post some websites where i can buy some engines other then ebay.

yeah it is. i have one almost completely done in an eg. will from hybrid-racing.com is who helped me out. very good man and he is able to get motors i am almost sure.

lets say like. i wanted to swap with a '94+ gsr engine. i read it was easy, easy enuff to do myself. and by myself.. i mean i have no motor skillz at all.. i got tools.. but no engine-jack-a-ma-bobber ::the thing that raises ur car up::

K20a Engines are pricey.

dude.. how come the h22a engines are so cheap.. and they put out 220 hp....

can ne one tell me what the compression ratios mean? like 10:6:1 or sumthin like that

People prefer the B series swap to the H series for a number of reasons. The primary ones are weight and aftermarket support. There is plenty of support in the aftermarket for the H but not nearly at the level of the B. There are other reasons, such as extreme axle angles which cause bad gas mileage and driveline failures at higher horsepower levels. Because of this lower demand, prices on the H tend to be cheaper.
