Default Need a good CAT.

I need a new Cat for my 94 Integ. The Cat rattles does anyone know of a good Cat that has good flow and will pass smog?

The carsound cat flows almost as good as a test pipe. Contact SMSP for one.

are you sure it isnt the heat shielding around the cat?

I know Random tech cats pass smog and they flow well.

if it is the heat shield how can i fix it. I think that might be it. I just hear a wierd whining noise when i drive around 2800-3900.

It's most likely rusted...just take it off.

just take the heat shield off...see if that solves the problem. The cat should be fine.

You can replace it, but you don't need to...mine's off and there are no problems.
