Any idea of the pricing? As for the tranny... G-Force is most definately a quality product
Gardella seems to be doing alright with the X-Trac (8.3's right?).

That's gotta be the ugliest tranny i've ever seen. I guess if it works then some black powder coating might help it a little.
Gary has the xtrac working great, so maybe this will be another option. Any idea on price?

thats with a custom bell housing. made to order. I think the tranny alone is 16-17 but the bell housing cost like 2500-3000 cause its custom made to order....h series b series f possible? I agree it is ugly, but hey if it works doesnt matter.

I guess that price with the bellhousing is about the same as the xtrac.

Hmmmmm.....acccording to G-Force its approved for HotRod....but unless they came up with a linkage for it its illegal....lol....the shift forks are moved by air, which at the time I saw the box they had no idea how they were gonna shift it by rods....in the GM car it can be done becasue the box sits in the car like the first picture with the air blocks at the top....but , with reverse rotation, the air blocks will be at the bottom, which does not leave any room for shift rod mechanism unless you jack the car up considerably.....

From my understanding howard they made a shifter that works for the hotrod guys so it is class legal now.-pdang
They do have a shifter for it that is legal for HotRod Class now. The cost is $17000 with a custom bell housing.
Holy **** that thing is ugly as hell, I guess we will see which one holds up better the Xtrac or the Gforce.
