I have a jdm one that came with my swap, at first it wouldnt let me hit vtec (damn knock sensor) but after i got everything figured out it engaged at 4400 rpms which i thought was a little low, anyways the rev limiter (fuel cut u said) is higher, but i dont know wat its at bc i never took it up that high. I did however hit 7300 fuel cutoff on my p28 today..... hmm

since that jdm gsr puts out 180 hp and usdm puts 170hp, can this be affected by the ecu somehow?

I'm not sure if this makes sense...but since the jdm ecu is smaller can you still put ubderdata in the socket...like is the socket still there for the additional chip?

vtec engagement is the same for both USDM and JDM (4400rpm) as is the secondaries (5800rpm) the JDM p72 redline is at 8200rpm, fuel cutoff is 8300-8400rpm...just after the redline.
